Yeojin Bae on her New Summer Collection

If you love classic elegance with an unexpected edge, Yeojin Bae has your summer wardrobe covered. Inspired by the striking and effortless Parisian women, the SS15 collection features sharply tailored pieces, with strategically placed cutouts exposing skin to create a perfect balance of sensuality and strength.

The Korean-born Australian designer is well known for creating the perfect harmony between hard and soft, sensual and refined. This season is no exception with side slits, sultry cutouts and the odd bare shoulder showing just a flash of skin alongside the clean and classic silhouettes.

Creating an ageless style has come naturally to Yeojin Bae ever since she attended the prestigious Whitehouse Institute of Design at only 15 years old. Launching her eponymous label in 2006, Bae has gained recognition around the world for her intuitive and effortless designs.

“The Yeojin Bae brand takes ownership of the contemporary tailoring and refined occasion dressing space,” says Bae “It speaks to a more established customer who values high quality and unique designs.”

Bae says that the Spring Summer 15 collection is themed around timeless sensuality – it’s all about reflecting an ageless ethos that captivates spirit and intelligence. For the designer, it’s about the women she admires who “respect their age and dress for themselves”.

Slick and timeless pieces make the best wardrobe additions, which is why we can’t wait to get our hands on Yeojin Bae’s new season collection.
