TOME MBFWA Myer

MBFWA Runway Report: Tome

Australia’s fashion elite were up early and out at Carriageworks for the first show of day one – the highly anticipated homecoming of New York based TOME, who were showcasing their Cruise 2015 Collection. Today marks the first time that this design team have shown at Australian Fashion Week, and they most certainly did not disappoint.

The collection was minimal and utilitarian, punctuated by restrained moments of embellishment, colour and texture. Highlights included a cobalt blue dress that fell softly to below the knee, a funnel-neck crimson blouse styled with a soft pink pleated skirt and black and white checked sleeveless jacket, effortlessly belted and matched with a black and white striped top.

TOME continue to redefine the modern take on classic elegance and are fast becoming our new go-to for understated, unfussy pieces.
