MBFWA Runway Report: By Johnny

Pop colour and modern shapes have defined by johnny in days gone by, however at today’s MBFWA show, we saw a different side to his label…

For his Resort 17 collection, Johnny Schembri used a neutral palette and played with prints, shapes and textures to showcase a range of looks that were effortlessly cool. Ruffles, frills and cut-outs dominated the first half of his range, with the looks becoming more fluid and flirty as the show went on. The fresh use of metallic pleating, asymmetric hemlines and voluminous silhouettes will make for perfect wardrobe updates come spring.
